Court Mandated Therapy
Every day is a new opportunity to change your life.
Court Ordered Therapy
Court-mandated therapy refers to therapy that is ordered by a judge as a condition of a legal settlement or as part of a sentence in a criminal case. This type of therapy is often required for individuals who have engaged in criminal or anti-social behavior, and it is meant to help them address underlying psychological or emotional issues that may have contributed to their actions.
With the guidance of a skilled therapist, many individuals are able to make positive changes and benefit from the therapeutic process.
Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT)
MRT is for court mandated clients and is an evidence-based, systematic, cognitive-behavioral, treatment strategy designed to enhance self-image, promote growth of a positive, productive identity, and facilitate the development of higher states of moral reasoning.
During MRT, individuals are encouraged to examine their values, beliefs, and attitudes, and to identify any patterns of thinking or behavior that may contribute to their criminal behavior.
They are then taught new coping skills and strategies for making better decisions, and are encouraged to practice these skills in real-life situations.
